The Scholar Portal is a major programme of Government of Kerala in the field of Content Development. The content is developed by the faculty in the form of class notes, lectures, video presentations, multimedia content etc. The portal will also host the articles, research papers, books etc of the scholars. The Portal will also be a one point access for all the information regarding the academics in Kerala and will contain the academic details and the achievements of the Scholars and contains the details regarding the research projects and publications by the scholar. The students and faculty can access the portal freely. Within a period of six months, almost 8000 teachers in the colleges and Universities in Kerala will be part of this programme and will make ‘The Scholar’ the biggest participatory content development portal in India.       .
